Facility:
Our 11,000 square foot wood and metal buildings feature a 7200 sq ft indoor riding arena which is connected to both barns.  With a custom mixed footing to minimize dust and over-sized access doors on all sides of the arena, natural light and great airflow offers a comfortable riding environment.  Abundant over-head lighting is also in place.

For the comfort of our horses, each of our 24 stalls are fronted by polyurethane pine and custom grill-work, fully insulated and have rubber matted flooring.  All stalls have a window and an extra-wide door with no exposed hardware.  Our horses can be pampered in our h/c wash stall which also has a central vacuum.  A center concrete aisle provides a level surface for grooming or tacking with many sets of cross-ties and collapsible saddle racks conveniently spaced.

Outdoor amenities include a 60' training round pen, expansive grazing fields and smaller turnouts.  We also access a large open field perfect for conditioning, light cross-country activities and riding outside of a 'ring environment'.

Our heated personal area offers a tack room with secure lockers for tack and equipment, a small kitchen-ette and bathroom.

Lori Wojtkowski is the manager/principal at Whispering Pines Farm, LLC.  After earning a degree in Equine Studies at RCC in Oregon, Lori's first professional job in 1980 was  Asst. Trainer to Richard Boule at well-known Orcland Farm in W. Newbury, MA.  After several years of hard work Lori returned to the West Coast and a Trainer position at Boston Morgans, a small well respected private barn in Oregon.  A few years later opportunity knocked again and Lori moved to Wisconsin and her dream job at the prestigious Kohler Morgan facility in Kohler, WI.  The work ethic, passion, attention to detail and dedication of Kohler's longtime trainer, Tom Caisse, was adopted by Lori and governs her life today.  In the late 80's Lori returned to Massachusetts by accepting a training position with Jeff Morse at the Nationally recognized Green Meads Farm in Richmond.  Lori met Chad, her now husband while working at Green Meads and semi-retired from Morgan show world and put down roots in Lanesboro.

Lori and her staff at WPF, LLC maintain a small attentive program that has matched many horse/rider combinations, made matches out of some non-synced combinations, re-trained and problem solved for both horse and riders and started many of the local top riders.   Lori's extensive breed specific training background allows a fresh eye and varied cross-training techniques that have successfully transitioned to the popular hunter and over-fence disciplines.  Lori is known for investing herself in all who enters her programs.

Lori enjoys a good working relationship with many top trainers, instructors, breeders and owners across the country.  She is always eager to share her passion and knowledge with the horse enthusiast and new or potential horse owners.
